Life-saving. Transformative.

Every day, an average of 22 veterans die by suicide—a number the VA itself coined in 2013. After spending more than $36 billion over twelve years to address the problem, that number has not budged. If a CEO failed that badly with $3 billion a year, they'd be fired on the spot.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) has shown the power to heal the brain, not just mask its wounds. This reference guide brings together my personal battle, the science, the voices of veterans who refused to give up, and relevant resources to help you make better decisions for your own well-being.

Relevant. Enlightening.

KEVIN HENSLEY s a retired U.S. Air Force veteran from Michigan who has become a leading advocate for veterans suffering from toxic exposure, particularly from burn pits used during military operations. He enlisted in 1995 as a Security Forces Airman and served for 20 years, deploying to Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Jordan, and Pakistan.

After retiring in 2015, he returned to Wayne County, Michigan. During his ser- vice, Hensley was exposed to burn pits, which led to severe respiratory issues and a diagnosis of constrictive bronchiolitis, a terminal lung condition. After years of misdiagnoses, he found relief through Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), which significantly improved his quality of life.

Today, Hensley serves as Co-Chair of the HBOT Committee for the Grunt Style Foundation and is a member of the Nation- al Legislative Committee for the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) in Michigan. He also leads advocacy efforts for BurnPits360MI and played a key role in the passage of the PACT Act. His work includes co-authoring a book titled The Promise, and his journey continues to inspire policy change and sup- port for veterans nationwide.
