Finding Family After Fifty

Infantryman Christopher Harvey's childhood ended at 12 years old when his mom casually told him that he was adopted. Consequently, adulthood for him began when he met his birth mother after he turned 50. And he describes the 38 years in between as a purgatory punctuated by panic attacks, emotional turmoil, and a number of missteps that almost miraculously led him to his birth family.

In Do You Know Who I Am? Christopher lays out for the reader in retrospect a cautionary strategy for finding your own family over a generous timeline that can minimize emotional overexertion, curb severe disappointment, and (most importantly) preserve your dignity and sanity.
